Jorge Luis Guerra Rincon '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jorge Guerra. I am attentive and down-to-earth regarding my studies and athletic playing ability. I can speak fluent Spanish, English, and French. Baseball is my passion and I have played it for 10 years. Baseball is a sport that I want and will work hard to keep in my life. During my time outside of school, I have 12 years of karate experience and obtained a black belt and multiple medals and trophies. Aside from my athletic record, I am also an Umpire, where I am a level 3.2 umpire. this was another way for me to be more involved in the game and learn it from a different point of view to help me better understand the ins and outs of the game.

 I have played the trombone during my 3 years in high school and have been in the school band every time. I have also gotten Honour Roll in grades 9 through to 12 with a 3.64 GPA. In my life, I have always worked well with others on my team and in my school work. I feel like being able to communicate and have relations makes me better when I take the field or when I work on a project. I think the most efficient way to work is to trust the people you work with. My ability to balance all that I set out to do on and off the field has helped me keep a calm mindset when it is time to go to work.
