Michael Kostaras '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Michael Kostaras. I am a hardworking and determined student athlete, currently in grade 11 at Bloor Collegiate Institute with a high ambition to one day play in the big leagues and become a professional baseball athlete. 

I do believe that for me to be able to fulfill this goal, I have to continuously try to work on myself day by day, both physically and mentally; focusing and understanding the foundation and tactics of the game, dedication and perseverance to always try pushing the limits, and keep seeking to get better in every aspect of the game and if given the opportunity, to play college baseball to help me improve my over all skill set. 

With my previous experience in playing baseball, I am a top hitter with fast hands that can hit for both average and power. Defensively, I am confident playing both infield corners and being behind the plate. As a motivated student, one of my main goals is to  average a 3.5 GPA while trying to succeed in playing the sport I love. I look forward to reaching out and discussing future opportunities with a number of top ranked schools!
