Dylan Hannon '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello

I am looking for an opportunity to play baseball at the next level while pursuing post-secondary education so that I may achieve my academic goals. 

My name is Dylan Hannon, and I believe I am perfectly suited for a school that provides excellent academic opportunities in addition to having a competitive baseball program. I have dedicated my time in high school to sports including baseball and rugby, while also upholding high academic achievement with an overall grade of 91% (GPA of 4.0). 

In 2022, I was given the opportunity of playing with a team an age level above me in the highest division of play. I have a very strong work ethic, and a very positive attitude when it comes to relationships with teammates. I like to take responsibility in raising team spirit, while being focused on our collective goal. Currently this off-season I am working out 5-6x per week, 3 of which involve baseball specific training from my coaches. 

As for my academics, I am currently hoping to pursue a Commerce/Business program, as I can build on the university level business and math courses that I have taken throughout high school. I am strongly motivated to receive good scores in my studies, as I aim to attend your school as a student-athlete. I believe that I am more than just an athlete, and by attending your school, I hope that I can have the opportunity to excel both on and off the field while being a positive influence and member of my community.
