Grant Strother '23 Recruiting Profile

I am a hardworking and academically-strong student-athlete. I excel both in the classroom, with my 4.0 unweighted and 4.21 weighted GPA's -while balancing 4+ AP courses- and on the field as I was named 1st Team All-State and conference Pitcher of the Year following my junior season. Some of my academic accolades include membership in the National Honor Society and a national writing award in the form of a Scholastic Gold Key. My fastball sits around 85 now, with a goal of increasing that to 88 by the fall. My pitch mix consists mostly of 2-seams and sliders, but I also work in a spike-curveball and 4-seam fastball. Additionally, I am working to develop my changeup as well.
