June 2020Personal Statement
My name is Zachary Kutek and I am currently a senior at Brownsville Area High School in Brownsville, PA (southwest PA). I am a left handed pitcher and batter. I have been playing since I was 5 years old and my primary position is a left handed pitcher and secondary position is first base. Currently, I have four different types of pitches, which include a four seam, two seam, 12-6 curve, and a slurve.
I may be quiet but I have a strong motivation to work hard and improve my athletic skills every time I have the opportunity to so. Since the pandemic shutdown in March and the cancellation of the baseball program my junior year and American Legion baseball, I have been conditioning and practicing to prepare for my senior year. I have set goals for myself and feel that I am on track to accomplish these goals.
I am excited about my future after high school, with plans to go to college and hopefully play baseball.
