January 2017 Personal Statement
College is the next big step in my life and I look to get everything I can out of my academics and athletics. I want to have a degree that means something to me and that will help me make the world a better place. Athletically I want to learn even more about the game of baseball and refine my skills and body to the best they can humanly be. I think my work ethic and leadership skills define who I am as a player. I am always the first one in the gym, on the field and the last one out. As a member of a team I am willing to do whatever it takes to win; I love being the guy in the bottom of the 9th with two outs. I love to learn and that's what I wish to gain from my professors and coaches because the more I know the better I can share my knowledge with others.
