Being selected to be part of the USA Baseball Northeast NTIS team this season was a highlight of the year.  There was an honor to put on the red, white and blue.  I was fortunate to meet some great teammates and learn from some excellent coaches.  However, I felt I grew substantially as a student-athlete once the season was over.  That experience taught me the value of one’s character is as valuable as my athletic abilities.  I learned that the season may be over, but I need to continue to train focusing not only on becoming a better baseball player, but improving my abilities as a great teammate and student.     

Since starting travel baseball, I have been fortunate to have great coaches and support from my family on and off the field.  They have been a tremendous influences on me.  My coaches have always taught us the value of teamwork, commitment, leadership and determination.  The baseball intangibles will help me grow as an individual beyond baseball and will make me a better leader and teammate.  As competitive soccer player as well, I have learned quickly how to manage my time to ensure my academics are a priority while still training for two sports.  I have also learned how to adapt to many teammates and coaches.

I believe that not only my talents, but my character, commitment and work ethic will allow me to compete in college and be a teammate that can be an impact on your program.
