Starting on the Varsity baseball team as a Sophmore set a high standard for myself going forward. I feel I was able to accomplish that goal through my hard work, determination, and work ethic. I have not only applied this work ethic to improving my physical game, but also improving my mental game. I have learned how to overcome shortcomings and focus on the next opportunity.
I have been fortunate enough to play with a successful team in our program for the past four years. Although this past year, we had many challenges with multiple players’ injuries. I had to be more versatile, playing multiple infield positions and pitching more innings. I feel I am becoming a well-rounded baseball player who can benefit your program. I lead by example with humility and go about my business the right way on and off the field. I am looking for a program that is a good fit for me academically and athletically. I feel I have the skill and ability to compete and make an immediate impact on your program.
