One of my greatest aspirations is to further my education while playing baseball which motivates and drives me to succeed in every aspect of my life. Finding a balance academically and athletically is always a challenge, but one I want to continue and pursue at the college level. I am one of the hardest and most dedicated workers on and off the field. Playing the game I love, and working hard to achieve that next level is a constant and persistent drive of mine. I also take a lot of pride of being part of a team, and being that positive mentor & coach for the team. As a pitcher, I am committed to leading the team in the right direction based on the impact my position has on the game. If I see a teammate who made an error, struck out, or is having a tough game, I make sure to pick them up. Winning games and being on top is rewarding & the end goal. I honestly believe that having a tough game as a team or as a individual and continuing to hold your head high, battling through, and persevering shows my true character. As a Junior in high school this year (making it through the Pandemic) my biggest goal is to win the District Championship alongside my high school baseball team and having a successful season. I am a baseball player that works hard, has grit and contributes to a teams success!
