Anthony Turek '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Anthony Turek. Showing respect for the game of baseball, the other team, my teammates, and those who came before me means everything to me because my coaches and teammates have taught me everything I know so far about the game. I take pride in all my work whether its on or off the field. I will always work my hardest to show my dedication to my coaches and teammates. I am committed to improve 1% each day, both mentally and physically. I want to be a select baseball player that learns the skill of the game which will result in more wins for our team. I am looking forward to playing my Junior baseball season for LS High School and would love to play baseball at the next level in college to help be a part of a special team. 

Preparing for high school has taught me many lessons about commitment. I am proud of my baseball accomplishments, but I am also extremely proud of some things that I have accomplished as well as other things that I am still preparing to succeed in. 

- I worked for 4 years to achieve a second-degree Korean black belt in Tae Kwon Do

- I ran cross country for the middle school team and increased my PR each year

- I have been a leader and active participant in my youth group for 4 years

-  Since a Freshman in high school, I played on the Golf team, Football and Baseball team. Also, I am a part of three clubs: Interactive Club, Ski/Snowboard Club and National Honor Society

I am hoping that my profile helps to reveal the balance and joy that I have in life and further shows my commitment and deep level of loyalty to becoming a successful baseball player at the next level.
