September 2018 Personal Statement
I am a 6’0, 200 lb baseball player from Liverpool, PA. I have started the past 2 years on the East Juniata Varsity Baseball team and will graduate in 2020. I have also played Legion baseball and have trained with Carman Fusco’s Baseball Training academy for past 5 years. I am a versatile player who can play all positions. However, I am best at first base. In addition, I typically am placed third or fourth in the batting line-up.
It is my dream to play in college and possibly beyond. I think that some of the assets I bring to a team are my hard work ethic and determination. I am confident and will put in the extra practice needed to make myself better. My motto is “I can do anything I put my mind to”.
Currently, I am not 100% sure what I will major in college. However, I am leaning toward Agriculture as a possible choice. Therefore, I would like the institution that I choose to have that major as a possibility.. I am open to not only 4 year colleges, but would consider junior colleges as well. I look forward to contributing to my future college team.
