Growing up, I played multiple sports but baseball was my favorite. Baseball was my first sport and I have been playing ever since I was four years old. Throughout my journey in sports, I found that baseball was what I was passionate about and was willing to play it whenever and wherever. While I was growing up, I really liked playing in the infield especially third base and shortstop. The one position I did not play but I wanted to, was pitcher. Growing up I taught myself how to pitch and ended up loving the position. Then I started having problems with my elbow because I was pitching sidearm. I starting going to a pitching coach and he helped me fix my pitching technique. He helped me tremendously. With many hours of hard work and dedication, I grew as a player. He taught me very important skills that help me on the mound. No matter when the time is, whether it’s during the season or off season, I never stop trying to improve my skills as a leader and as a player on the field, working on my skills, getting reps in, and trying to become a better baseball player. I am looking for a program where I will continue to grow as an athlete while also getting a quality education.
