Personal Statement
Hi,
My name is Nic Loranger (Class of 2019). I am the starting center fielder for Franklin Towne Charter High School, a blue ribbon school in Philadelphia, PA.
I firmly believe I would make an excellent addition to your college baseball program.
This past year my game and academic work ethic have begun to pay dividends and separating me from others, as a person with a higher level of commitment and results.
- I am constantly improving my game everyday through a combination of club ball, high school ball, practicing at the local fields/batting cages, and working with my hitting coach (Chuck Bushbeck). My parents often plead with me to take a break for a day or two.
- While I am not the best student, i do my best through homework and study
- recent accomplishments: high school (.368 AVG) travel ball ( .316 AVG MJBL all star tournament MVP .527 OBP ) fall ball ( .600 AVG)
- was batting well over .400 majority of the high school season but slump came at the end and same thing happened with the travel ball season. these slumps have made me a lot better as a player and become smarter.
