2020 SpotlightPersonal Statement
I began playing baseball when I was 4 years old. Within the first couple of years of my career, I knew I wanted to play in college. I have always had a passion for the game, and it shows when I am on the field. I am fully invested in every game, no matter how small or insignificant it may seem. I am always striving to become a better player on the field and a better person off the field.
In school, I take AP courses and maintain a 4.0+ GPA. In middle school, I was part of the National Junior Honor Society; this came with responsibilities, like maintaining high grades and doing community service. I plan to participate in the National Honor Society when in-person classes resume and I have the opportunity to do so.
I want to attend a college where I can both challenge myself on the field and off the field. I am open to all options that will satisfy these two needs.
