My name is Antonio Cordeiro. I am a junior at Central Catholic High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I was an honor student throughout middle school and continue to achieve high honors at Central Catholic. While I have played multiple other sports (golf, basketball and crew), baseball is my passion. I started playing baseball when I was five years old for my community team. At age nine, I moved to AAU baseball and have been playing there ever since. I currently play for Team All American and Central Catholic varsity team.
Academically, I'm working to graduate with high honors and am interested in pursuing a degree in business/sports management. As a player, here’s what I bring to your team. I’m proud of my character and my ability to stay positive during tough situations. You can ask any of my teachers or coaches, the one thing they will all say is that I’m always smiling. I’m a hard worker, competitive and get along well with everyone. I love all aspects of baseball and want to learn all that I can, which makes me very coachable. I’m a player that celebrates my team and teammates successes and shares in the responsibility when we fail.
I am looking forward to finding a school that will give me a well-rounded college experience consisting of a great education and the opportunity to follow my lifelong dream of playing baseball at the college level.
