Hello, my name is Noah Mildren and I will be graduating in the year 2021. I developed a love for baseball at a very early age. What first started in the yard passing ball with my parents, grandfathers, and even my sisters, has now turned into something that is a very important part of my life. I currently play for a 5A southwestern Pennsylvania high school. As a member of the Albert Gallatin High School baseball team I have played shortstop for a large majority of my time, however I can also play second and third if needed. One of my biggest accomplishments to date has been starting as a short stop for the varsity team as a sophomore, and being chosen to represent my school baseball team for the All County Baseball team. My coaches through all of my years of playing have helped me to become a better ball player. I am constantly in the gym or batting cages trying to improve my game to help my team to make it as far as we can. I always strive to be the best player on field, the one a coach can have confidence in to make the play, and I believe that I have the work ethic to be that player.
I come from a baseball family. My family is very important to me and they have been with me every step of the way, encouraging me to work harder and reach further. I enjoy ALL aspects of the game. I like researching different things to improve my overall performance. I enjoy reading about the the history of the game. My father has taught me to think about every possible situation that may arise with every swing of the bat, and to want the ball to come to me every time.
My faith also plays an important role in my life. I have been blessed with the love of baseball, and I want to take it as far as I can go.
When I enter college I would like to possibly major in sports medicine. I like the aspect of helping athletes to heal and return to what they love to do. An education in sports medicine will help
me to be able to do this on a daily basis . I am also looking for an opportunity to represent a college on the baseball field as well as in the classroom.
Baseball is like a brotherhood and I will treat all of my teammates and coaches with the upmost respect. It has always been my dream to play at the next level and I’m willing to work extremely hard to accomplish that goal. I would like to attend a school where I can focus on my academics. A place where I can be pushed to reach my highest potential in both academics and on the baseball field.
Family is extremely important to me so I would like to attend a college that not only is welcoming to me but also to my family . All in all my athletic goal is to start my freshman year of college and play at the highest level at any division.
I appreciate the time and effort you put forth to make your team the best. If given the chance to play for your team, you will see a highly motivated and energetic young baseball player! Thank you for your time. Noah K. Mildren
