John Barr '14 Recruiting Profile

As a student-athlete I have learned how to prioritize my goals in order to achieve those that are most important.  My goal is to be able to graduate from a college that will offer the best possible academic opportunity while allowing me to play baseball at the next level.  What I offer to a team is a player with the drive to be the best, working hard at practice, and giving it all on the field as well as off the field. I have always dreamed of playing college baseball, to become a role model to my peers and to make my parents and community proud. I want to play in college at the highest level of competition. I am committed to continuous improvement and to make an impact on a team. I have learned there is no substitute for passion or teamwork and that being a part of something greater than one's self is the greatest experience.
