Christian Kemp '19 Recruiting Profile

         Ever since I was little I wanted to play college baseball. I know that the key to obtaining this doesn't only depend on what I do on the field. I have maintained high honor in every marking period throughout my high school career. I also participate in Boy scouts and other volunteer work. I am a tri-sport athlete participating in basketball and golf. I have also played piano for 12 years and regularly play for our church. 

        While on the field, I helped lead our team to a 13-8 record last year and a trip to the district finals. I hope to build on my strong season last year and to get us back to the postseason once again. I think I would bring a strong defensive presence to your team as I only had 2 errors total the last two seasons. I would also be a consistant presence in the lineup while being able to hit for some power. Since last season I have lost 20lbs which will help me become a stronger base runner this coming season. My goal is to have over 20 stolen bases.
