As a 14 year old, I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity of playing with the 16-U Berkshire Red Sox for my 2017 fall baseball season. Playing at a higher age level allowed me to see the requirements needed to be successful at a more competitive level of baseball. This opportunity has made me more focused on improving my skills and preparing myself to play at one of the highest levels of baseball: College Baseball.
This influential experience has taught me the skills a player needs on and off the field. It has taught me that a player needs to be able to perform the fundamentals, adapt to difficult situations, and be able to perform under pressure to be a successful player on the field. Off the field,it has taught me that a player has to be fully dedicated, help others become better, and give back to the community. These skills help not only in baseball, but in life. I am looking for colleges that can help me build off these skills athletically and academically.
