Baseball has been my passion ever since my childhood. Initially, I was the catcher of my team for many years. We had the opportunity to play at different local and regional tournaments. However, in 12U, my coach determined I was better as a left fielder because of my fast legs. At my middle school graduation, I was recognized for many of the accomplishments as an athlete representing the school. The Outstanding Athlete Award recognized me for my volleyball, basketball, table tennis and athletics competitions. Where I acquired most of my leadership skills from as the team captain of both the volleyball and basketball teams. For my high school background, I pursued a school with baseball support specialization. Being accepted into the Manuel Cruz Maceira Specialized Baseball High School in 2019, as an outfielder, to keep building on my baseball skills and experience.
After all these years of experience, I believe I am at my best and feel fulfilled with my accomplishments. I am feeling the most free, passionate about the sport, and inspired to keep on playing. Having the opportunity to enjoy the game from another point of view. Attending the gym at daily manner working to retake the physical condition that I had before the pandemic which caused the lockdown implemented by local government limiting sports facilities. Slowly reopening, now I am playing at 16-under team while practicing independently to bat as a left-handed to have a more strategic approach at the home plate.
Academically, I have distinguished myself with my excellent grades. Even studying outside of school English, Mathematics and Technology, mostly focused on improving for the different standardized tests, but not limited by it. For example, I have been improving my English conversational skills with a personal teacher.
I am expected to graduate in May of 2023 from my high school. My soonest goal I wish to pursue is to achieve a bachelor’s degree with the opportunity to participate on the baseball team of the institution of my dreams. Later, become a professional to help society progress for a better future.
