Ever since I can remember I always loved to play baseball and compete with others to be the best on the field. I see the game of baseball like a game of chess where every aspect is important and coaches form strategies that the players carry out to secure victory. I feel that my competitive spirit on the field has a positive effect on my teammates and drives them to be better players. I am always seeking to get better at the game by finding new ways to improve my performance on the field. In addition to training with the Bandits Baseball showcase team , I watch and study situational and training videos, practice at a indoor baseball facility where I receive additional instruction, and work out on a daily basis to build and strengthen muscle tone and stamina.
I always wanted to play baseball at the collegiate level. Throughout my years of playing ball however I was told my best wasn't good enough to play at that level let alone play at that level and excel with a demanding curriculum. Admittedly, there were always boys who were stronger, faster, better coached and more skilled than myself. This however inspired me to become a better student of the game, practice even harder and achieve high grades in school to prove that with focus and determination I can play and excel at a highly competitive level and succeed in my major studies. Because of my strive and commitment to be a great student-athlete, my work ethic and competitive personality I feel that I would be a great candidate for a college baseball team.
