My drive to play baseball and continuously work to better myself comes from my love of the game and the overall effect it has on me. I've played since I was five, made bonds with my teammates that cannot be broken, and worked vigorously to achieve my overall goal. That goal is to be the best I can be. I had to work to become stronger. I had to work to be able to catch two division one college committed pitchers, one of which was the pitcher of the year in Rhode Island. I had to work to put my team in the best position to win. If I am driven I will not let my goal fade from my mind. The goal this year was to win the state championship. Myself and my teammates never let that goal slip our minds, and we achieved it. The next goal is to play college baseball. It is one of the final goals in my baseball journey, and I'm not letting that slip my mind.
