I have always loved the sport of baseball and have worked hard to continue playing. For three seasons I travelled 7 hours round trip to play in an Elite Fall ball travel team program. Because we lived in remote northern Canada, high caliber baseball didn’t exist where we lived. So we made the family commitment to travel so that I could keep playing at a high level. Even to play during the regular season, the closest AAA team was 2.5 hours away.
The team I currently play for in the Saskatchewan Premier Baseball league is 1.5 hours away, and the Going Yard Baseball Academy where I train is that same distance. Because I spend 10 hours a week or more commuting to play/practise I am very disciplined in my time management and high school studies.
I have always had to travel and be the “new kid” trying out for teams and for the second season in my current league I had to leave the team I was drafted to and join the leagues expansion team.
I am very committed to baseball and would love to play at a college level
