My name is Ryan Sumner, I am a student-athlete with a current GPA of 3.5. I am on track to qualify for an in state academic LIFE Scholarship in the amount of $5,000.00.
Beginning as a Freshmen, I started as a pitcher on the JV baseball team and played 3rd base. Now I am a Captain of the Varsity Baseball Team for Summerville High School, the fourth largest 5A high school in SC.
I am highly interested in studying Computer Science after graduating from High School. I am a self-motivated student who is ready to be a part of the growing and challenging field of computers. I am very creative, I enjoy problem solving, and hands on tasks. Finding creative ways of doing things is a signature of my personality.
I have learned over the years to balance academics and baseball. My goal is to continue this routine at a college level.
