Gavin Weir '27 Recruiting Profile

I am a team player, who wants to play his best to help the team win.  I want to compete every game at the plate, on the mound, in the field for my teammates and get better each game.  I love to compete at the highest level moments, competing in the Little League World Series in 2021, and playing competitive travel baseball with my dad (coach) all over has helped me develop into the player I am.  Also playing both my age groups and up 2 years in age with my brother Drew Weir,  has helped me to develop into a balanced player at the plate, on the mound, in the field and on the bases.  I love the fun with our teammates before, during, and after competing in games, and believe God has given me and my family gifts to play at a high level in the future.  I have alot to still learn and grow in, but understand the game alot by watching it daily, studying it, and working at the little things to get better.  

I am coachable, work hard both physically and studying the game and willing to help others! I am also competitive in multiple other sports including basketball and Golf already playing High School JV my first year of trying out and winning a tourney this year.  School is also important to me, im not sure what I want to do for college study yet, but I know that learning and getting a degree is important as well.  I believe i have the ability to help any college baseball program, and would love the opportunity to play someday in the college world series.
