My goal is to be the best possible catcher and batter. I've been blessed with natural baseball skills and instincts, but my parents have helped to keep me grounded, and to understand that the world doesn't revolve around me. I feel like I could always learn and improve, so my goal is to find a program and coaches that I can learn and grow under. Two years ago, as a freshman, I was fortunate to be able to lead the team in nearly every statistic. Some statistics include .525 Slugging %, .356 Batting Average, and only 1 error committed. I want to improve on my technical batting skills and my defensive approach behind the plate. I play catcher with 1st Base as my secondary position. I used to be a pitcher.
In the 2017 season, I was only able to play in 4 games because of a season ending shoulder surgery I had due to a torn labrum in my throwing shoulder that I suffered during a practice.
