Izzy WILSON is a 2025 Pitcher/MIF. Izzy played as the Varsity Pitcher her 8Th Grade year for The Kings Academy. She was awarded many accolades for her pitching and hitting! She takes hitting from Marc Weekly who she has been with for 5 years and Pitching with Stephanie Sayne who she has been with for 6 years. Izzy currently attends Friendship Christian Academy.  She just received the Athlete of the Week award. Below is a list of some of her accolades! The nucleus of the team was enhanced by adding centerfielder Chloe Lackey, third baseman Addison Lund, pitcher Mara Everton, pitcher Izzy Wilson and second baseman Lex Shepherd to complete the team for this past Summer’s new beginning.

The Mojo 2024 team finished the season going 23-16-2 highlighted by beating No. 1-ranked Mojo Ross at the JO Cup and several Extra Inning Softball Top 50-ranked teams.

Most of the losses were to Top 50 teams and several were one run games. The Mojo ensemble also showed it was a team to watch by placing highly in several top events:

* a Top 10 finish at PGF Show Me the Money in Florida

* a 3rd place finish at the JO Cup in Georgia

* a Top 30 finish at Colorado Sparkler

* a 1st place 14U division finish at ProSwings in Tennessee

* a Top 25 finish at PGF Nationals in California

In the attached photo, John Greer Jr. is recognizing Friendship Christian High School student athlete - Izzy Wilson, who has been selected as the "Lady Commander Softball Player of The Week", for week ending April 2nd, 2022.  For her performance on the softball field this past week, Mr. Greer presented Izzy with a 'Certificate of Recognition & an Athlete of The Week T-Shirt'.

Izzy plays at ‘Pitcher & short-stop’ for the Friendship Christian “Lady-Commander Softball Team”.  Izzy played very good on the softball field this past week for the “Lady-Commanders”, as she (hit for a .455 average, 3 singles, 1 double, 1 triple and she also batted .500 with runners in scoring position).  Izzy (also collected a win on the mound against Franklin during the Brentwood Invitational; only allowing 3 hits and 1 run while striking out six).
