Brooks Bird '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Brooks Bird and I am uncommitted in the class of 2024. I am 6’2 200 pounds and I am a RHP.  I started playing baseball when I was 3 years old and I fell in love with it instantly. I was dedicated to the game and quickly transitioned to travel ball. I have played travel ball since I was 8 years old playing the best competition in the country!

I have played corner infield and some outfield but my calling is pitching. I love pitching because your constantly involved in the game is there is a different strategy based on every hitter. I love to study the game and watch baseball. I watch MLB network all the time to study Major League pitchers and to see how they attack different hitters. 

I recently topped out at 87 MPH in Georgia with my travel team No Chance Gold. I have a 5 pitch mix with a 4 seam, 2 seam, curveball, changeup, and a knuckleball. I feel confident in any count to throw any of my pitches.

I am really excited to elevate my game to the next level and I’m looking forward to talking to those who are interested in me!
