Interview With Lo...Personal Statement
My name is Jacob Franklin and I am from Oak Ridge High School in the class of 2023. I weigh 140 Ibs and am 5 foot 10 inches tall. I am a side-arm slinger from the pitching mound and play all infield positions except first basemen but would not mind giving it a try if it is a chance to play. As a player I like to lead by example on a team, being the first one to show up and the last to leave. At Oak Ridge High School it is important to work hard in all aspects of your life, whether that be academically or athletically. Personally I see myself as a hard worker off and on the field in everything I do. College for me is my personal short term goal with greater competition levels being the utmost overall goal. Colleges on the middle to eastern regions are more prefered regions of schools because of being a little closer to family than if I were to go towards the western coast. My desired major at this exact moment is in exercise sciences and later going into Physical Therapy. I have earned an all-star award in a baseball youth tournament around 2016. I have been to a showcase near me and looking to go to many more.
