2021 Spotlight Personal Statement
When you grow up with a baseball in your hand, you view the sport as more than just a game. For me, baseball has become a lifestyle. Not that it defines who I am, but it certainly has influenced me as a student, a friend, and as a member of my family and my church. Simply put, I love baseball for all the experiences, relationships, and leadership skills it has given me over the years. So, continuing my baseball career in college is something I am passionate about pursuing as I seek to continue to grow as a student athlete.

- Over the last 8+ years I have conducted focused training with a former pro catcher, Zane Chavez. We conduct individual one on one instruction as well as attending day camps throughout the year.
- Tom Griffin & Joe Pennucci Catching Camp
- 1 year
- Participated in a weekend of catching position specific training hosted by ETSU and lead by nationally recognized catching expert, Tom Griffin (head baseball coach at Carson-Newman University) as well as many other area college coaches and players. This intense and position specific training influenced my off season regimen and I am sure help me take my catching to the next level in the upcoming baseball season.
