Logan Franzoni '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Logan Franzoni. I am a 2022 grad attending Summit High School in Spring Hill, Tennessee. 

My goal is to continue both my playing career and my education at a school where I can valued as both a great player and an excellent student. I'm looking for an environment where I can not only succeed between the lines, but also receive a good education, specifically in an engineering field. I am willing to work hard to achieve my goals on both the field and in the classroom.

As a ballplayer, I am an outfielder and ambidextrous pitcher. Since the age of three, baseball has been what I live and breathe. Being ambidextrous, I can throw with both hands, having pitched in games from both sides, and hit from both sides of the plate. I have legit speed and hustle that has consistently made me a tough out at the plate and on the base paths. I also take pride in the work I put into becoming a complete player,  working hard to provide excellent defense up the middle in center field and becoming more knowledgeable about positioning my teammates from batter to batter.

As a student, I've never been one to expect anything but the best in the classroom. I currently have a 4.0 GPA (4.3 cumulative GPA) in all honors classes. I wish to pursue an engineering degree, preferable in architecture (civil engineering). While baseball is my ultimate goal, I also want to put myself into a position to succeed in life should my playing days end.

I feel that my personality and work ethic help me stand apart from other athletes. I am always looking for ways to grow as a player and a person, and feel that I am open to feedback and instruction in all facets of life. This allows me to be a great teammate, and to push myself and my teammates to reach their full potential.
