Contributing as a freshman towards the end of our season and playing the majority of the time during my sophomore year along side my friends and teammates has already created many memories that shall not be forgotten. This, as well as my passion for the game, has further solidified my ambition to continue playing baseball at the college level. The sport of baseball has taught me many things about life. It, like baseball, has many ups and downs. It can change at a moments notice just like with the swing of a bat or a bump in the road. This has ingrained in me the resilience to keep my head up and to continue on the fight. And besides, you never know what can happen with the next pitch.
My hometown, Tullahoma, is what I would classify a baseball town; although small, we have had much success throughout our programs history. I have worked at this sport since the age of five to try and live up to the players who have competed before me. Although playing in front of my peers is a big part of the process, the passion extends to travel ball which has been a part of my life for many years as well as the last five years with the Nashville Knights. Due to the past success of these teams, it has become quite important for me to train almost daily and hon my craft. I am looking for a program with a strong academic environment as well as a competitive baseball program. I believe that I have the ability and the work ethic to make an impact on your program.
