Carson Garrett '26 Recruiting Profile

One of the biggest goals I've had my whole life is to play college baseball, and if I'm lucky enough, to make it to the MLB. I am a hardworking and very coachable player with lots of upsides to my game. I am very flexible in the field, as I mainly catch, but can also play second base, shortstop, and the corner outfield positions. I hit for a very high batting average, and occasional power. I get on base a lot, steal bags, and score most of the time I am on base. Recently, I attended a Baylor combine, where my pop-time was clocked in at 1.94 seconds, and I also went 2-3 at the same combine with a single and double. I have also caught the MVP for the 4A Baseball State Championship, Miles Vaughn, for a majority of both of our careers, and call games very well. I do very well in school, being in the top 20% of my class, and have never struggled academically. I get to places on time, come prepared, and will never back down when the moment arises, whether that be in game, or off the field. I am very charismatic and would make a great player, teammate, friend, and leader. Level headed-ness is one of my strong suites, and I never get discouraged because of a couple of bad outings. I am a very well rounded player, student, person, and I would love to be on your team!
