Avery Cherry '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Avery cherry i am 5'9" ; and weigh 135 pounds. I am 17, and;a junior at Big sandy highschool in Dallardsville tx. I like to hunt, fish, and play baseball. I have played baseball ever scence i was little and i have always loved it. I am a smart kid. I like to help people when they need it, and i am very social. I am a alchole drug free student. When im not working outside or doing homework im either shooting basketball outside, or throwing a baseball with my brother or dad, and hitting off a tee in my batting cage. I am very active i am always doing something. I am very athletic and a utility player where ever i am playing i give 120%. I am a team player and a leader, I bring people up when they are down, and I correct people when they are doing something wrong. I am a lefty and play first base. I have played second base since i started baseball in tball. I have pitched some, i throw 70mph and i would love to throw about 80 or higher so if there is any exersises or fundementals i could do to help me i would love to know about them. I achived newcomer of the year my freshmen year and defensive player of the year my sophmore and junior year. I am a outstanding defensive player and a excellent hitter. I have been first or second batter since my freshmen year on varsity. I have had a total of 4 strikeouts my freshman year. I can see the ball good. I am not a homerun hitter i am more of a linedrive hitter im good at hitting up the middle and placing the ball into the gaps. I hope the following information tells you more about me and who i am.
