Just like baseball, I consider education to be a big part of my life. Both paths have allowed me to go out and learn new things, as well as explore new options and find out what I enjoy doing. From these explorations, I have found out that I love to pitch and pursue mathematics and sciences. I always put in the work required to succeed, and whenever presented with a challenge, I do what I can to achieve success in the challenge presented to me. 

It has always been a dream of mine to play baseball at the college level. I am willing to work hard to achieve this goal. I attend a school with a high quality baseball program. I am also fortunate enough to play baseball for a travel team outside of school. I play for Pro Source Weatherly 18U, have a great relationship with my coaches and teammates. Although I am primarily a starting pitcher, I work hard to take full advantage of opportunities when I’m not on the mound, including throwing out runners on the base paths from the outfield or delivering a quality at-bat during a late rally. I am a dedicated team player, and I feel like baseball wouldn’t be as great of a sport as it is without the teamwork involved.

I believe my faith as a Christian also influences my college decisions as well. I would love to go to a school that will allow me to further build my faith in a Christ both on and off the field. Being able to participate in a community that is Christ-centered is very important to me. 

I feel like I would bring a lot to your team, including intense energy, commitment, a strong work ethic, and a passion to learn from both my coaches and teammates.
