Jacob Ortiz '12 Recruiting Profile

I am currently a junior in high school and will graduate in May 2012. I am 15th in my class of 236 and have a 4.0 GPA. I am 6'1" tall and weigh 175 pounds. I play year round baseball which includes both my high school team and a select team the rest of the year. I offer my team dedication, hard-work, leadership, and confidence. I am very open minded about locations and type of schools,my main goal is to get a quality education and to play baseball. My desired majors would be either pre-law or pre-med. Athletically I am a hard-working indvidual that will make an impact on a team. I will work whatever hours needed to improve upon all skills that will help both my team and myself. Practice is one of my stronger attributes because I believe how you practice is truly how you will play in the game. I also believe that hard work at practice will help me achieve one of my other goals which is play as a freshman.
