Colby Standard '18 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I can remember I have wanted to play college baseball. One of my collegiate goals is to go to an institution to gain a four year degree in Engineering( petroleum or mechanical). While getting that degree I would love to play baseball for a competitive team. 

What gives me an edge against other recruits is my endless desire to be great. Time and time again I have been overlooked, which has driven me to outwork anyone around me. The character I portray is leadership, playing with a burning desire to be the best for my teammates and myself. 

My desire to succeed does not end on the field, I also pursue greatness in my class work as well. I am the type of athlete that is not flashy, I will not coward down from a challenge, and most importantly I am a good teammate and will get the job done for my team.
