Personal Statement
My ultimate dream is to one day play Major League Baseball. The blood, sweat and tears needed to get me there are expected and welcomed. No matter the path, whether it be NAIA, JUCO or some other path I approach each day giving my personal best. Second place, is exactly that. I work to be the best at whatever I do. Along with the competition on the field, I am a competitor in the classroom as well. I consistently maintain an "A/B" average and have been enrolled in honors coursework since elementary school. Baseball is called the 'thinking man's game' and without a solid academic background and an unrelenting work ethic, it's futile to expect success beyond the local level.
