
I love the game of baseball. I started playing when I was four years old. From t-ball to Varsity Baseball in High School I have always wanted to play baseball at the college level. Now that I am about to graduate, I've realized I want to go to a school that can offer a strong baseball program and a school that cares about academics. I am a good student and achieve a 3.75-4.0 GPA. I have
always been a competitive player on the field. I am a leader and as a pitcher, I show my character on the mound. I am great at left field as well as shortstop. My teammate nicknamed me "the wall" because nothing gets past me or over me. Although it is nice to be perfect, I know I am not. I am teachable and when I make mistakes, I don't let it get me down or affect my game or the outcome of the game. I actually love learning from errors and bouncing back quickly. As a 12 year old pitching in the greatest tournament in the nation in Cooperstown, New York I got nervous. Now I have learned some tools to keep calm and get through one pitch at a time. My doctor says that I have the lowest blood pressure he's ever seen from a three sport athlete. I would like to play baseball in college so I can build upon my strong foundation and continue to invest in my talents. I believe I have a keen knowledge of the game since I have been coached by some of the top clubs and coaches around. With each new "voice" I have gained something extra, which has helped me to read the game and be confident under pressure and be able to execute some amazing plays.
