Luke Kimmel '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Luke Kimmel, class of 2023. I am a student-athlete at Orem High School in Orem, Utah. My positions are pitcher (left-handed) and outfield. I have been playing competitive baseball since I was 8 years old. I have had the opportunity to play from New York to California and many other places in between. During this time I have always been looked up to as the team leader.  I have always loved the game and have learned many lifelong lessons while on the field. My goals are to compete at the highest level possible and further my education. I am fluent in Mandarin Chinese, and am currently taking college level courses. Academics are very important to me. I always strive to be my best both on and off the field. I have learned through personal experiences that adversity is a stepping stone for success. If I want to be successful, I am the only person who can make that happen.
