My name is Mason Krueger and I'm from Draper, Utah. I play football, baseball and basketball at Jordan High School in Sandy, Utah. My goal is to go to a good college to get a degree and play football.
This football season, I received 5A All-State 1st Team honors as a receiver from both the Salt Lake Tribune and the Deseret News. I ranked 2nd in 5A for receiving yards per game with an average of 97 yards per game. I started every game both ways at wide receiver and corner back.
My GPA right now is 2.76, but I'm working hard to get that up. I'm working with a tutor to get better academically. My first ACT score was a 17, but I will take it again in February and April.
I have a baseball scholarship to Utah Valley University, but want to play football in college. When I was offered my baseball scholarship last spring, I thought I would not play football this year so that I could focus on baseball. I played baseball all last summer on a college prospects travel team, but at the end of the summer, I really missed football so I decided to play this year. I started practice with my high school team after their second game. I was not able to train for football over the summer, but it turned out to be a great season and we made it to the 5A semi-finals. Last football season we won the 5A State Title and I ended up being named 5A All State 2nd Team as a junior.
I have played three sports my entire life. I'm very competitive and want to win in everything I do. I'm excited about the opportunities to play football in college and to help contribute to a team. It's my goal to find a school that's the best fit for me.
