Michael Hanks '20 Recruiting Profile

I was introduced to baseball when I was six after one season of T-ball through the rec-league. It was on an eight and under travel baseball team and I have been playing ever since. Over time I've learned it is more mental than it is physical. Baseball has been my favorite sport since the first time I played. It's the only sport that I have a true passion for.

Throughout my ten years playing baseball I've learned to love playing but also winning.  I love the feeling of knowing when I am up to bat it is just me and the pitcher.  I have played three sports throughout school but baseball has been my favorite because I was always able to compete with the level of my competition.

All-in-all I've loved baseball since the first time I stepped on the field, and I always will.
