Hi, my name is Ryder Buchbinder. I am currently a Junior attending Benedictine College Preparatory in Richmond, Virginia. My primary position is a RHP and I currently do not have a secondary position.
Since I was about 5, I’ve been a two-sport athlete playing football and baseball. While I enjoyed playing football as the quarterback, no one else on the team could catch my passes which made me upset, and that is why I stopped playing football at a younger age and focused on baseball.
Once springtime came around and I stepped on the baseball field, I immediately fell in love with the sport. I always push myself to compete and always try to improve. I am very coachable and strive to work hard not only on the field of play but also in the classroom.
I uphold myself in the classroom with a 3.9GPA and many honors classes. Honors English, Honors Chemistry, Honors World History 2 and Honors Pipe and Drum. I am also proud to be a part of my school's Color Guard and Pipe and Drum corps. I aspire to be a Drum major in Pipe and drum which means practicing on my own time and leading others. I am also interested in furthering my rank status to an officer at some point.
Lastly I would like to thank my coaches and especially my parents for helping me get better and achieve different goals and set standards.
