Brayden Merrick '20 Recruiting Profile

As a student athlete, I have learned good lessons about applying myself to my goals both in academics and athletics.  My work ethic is reflected in the amount of effort I invest in things.  My personal growth over the last few years proves that the degree of effort I exhibit produces the amount of success I will receive.  Hard work is regarded as worthwhile when I consider where I am headed as a result. 

Choosing to always keep a forward driven perspective in mind has served me well.  I appreciate the idea that something worth my time is equally worth my diligence.  I trust that a man can only be as passionate as he is determined, and when he is determined, he will refuse to give up.  I am determined.   

Of the core values that represent my personal character, the four most significant include:

In keeping God first in all things, I have found that respect is gained not from what I say, but rather from what I do with my life.
