Alex Feeney '20 Recruiting Profile

I attend a small private school in Suffolk, Virginia.  We have never had a sports team in school history to compete at a high level.  Due to the fact that homeschoolers play on our teams, we are unable to compete for State Championships.  Despite this, I have still dedicated myself to become the best player I can be for my team.  We have a talented school team this year and we all are striving to compete at a level that we never have before.  I have learned from my high school experience that it's not all about having the nicest facilities or the biggest school.  It is more important to be a leader in my community no matter how small it is and be grateful for the resources that my school has provided.  I have achieved leadership skills that I never thought I could attain and I have grown to be more mature as an individual.  I am looking for a college where I can demonstrate those leadership qualities both on and off the baseball field.  I not only believe that I have the ability to play baseball at the college level, but I also believe that my teamwork and leadership qualities will have a significant impact on your program.
