Hi, my name is Eden Dougherty-Wolf, and I recently graduated from Decatur High school in Federal Way, WA. I’m interested in sports medicine, biology, and other healthcare related fields. I have a 3.6 GPA and during my senior year I exclusively took college classes and maintained a 4.0 GPA. I’d like to attend a university with high academic standards, and one with a baseball program that focuses on player development and not just the win.
When it comes to baseball, I primarily play 3rd and 1st, although I’m happy anywhere in the field. I’m a power hitter and my coaches praise my smooth hands and fielding ability and usually put me 4th in the batting order.
I’m a hard worker both on and off the field. I know the work it takes to always be improving. I remember being the worst player on the team and the hard work it took to get me where I am today. I am a focused player, I don’t like taking breaks, I don’t like being lazy, and I’m always looking for ways to improve as a player and as a teammate. Baseball is a team sport, and the only way I win is if we all win.
