My name is Jeramiah Crain and I am currently a Freshman at Tacoma Community College in Tacoma, WA. I was born on November 11, 2003 in Puyallup, Washington. I am a 6’1" 195 pound third baseman. My two secondary positions are RHP and first base. I am a right handed batter and also throw right handed. For me, baseball is not just a sport, but a lifestyle. I have been playing baseball since I was three years old and I love the game. I love that no matter how much practice you put in, no matter how much you play, there will always be something to learn every time you step on the field. Baseball has taught me respect, self-discipline, self-control, pride and humility. Over the years and being a military child, I have had the opportunity to play for many different coaches in many different states. I have received a lot of really fantastic training from handfuls of excellent coaches that have helped me achieve my goals year after year, push me harder and get me to where I am today. When I’m not focusing on academics or out on the ball field, I enjoy playing basketball and throwing batting practice to my little brothers. I also enjoy lifting and upper body workouts. Right now I am going to school for a general associates in science, with my focus on sports physical therapy. I am the starting third baseman and I have an excellent team by my side.
In high school I was the offensive MVP of my league (SPSL) and I made the Washington state all-state team as a third baseman. I was named player of the game in Vtool tournaments in the past and named all-tournament in a Pathway baseball event in Arizona. I hope to continue setting goals, meeting them and pushing myself further as I grow as a person and a baseball player. To all college coaches interested in me: I would like you to know that I am a dedicated, coachable and goal oriented young man with dreams of becoming the best student, athlete and man that I can possibly be. - Jeramiah B.
