Personal Statement
My goal is to play competitive baseball at the collegiate level. I've been playing baseball since I was five years old and have played on numerous all star and select travel baseball teams. I have a passion for this game because every practice and game brings new challenges. Most of all, it's fun! One thing that separates me from other pitchers is my ability to handle pressure. I spent six years as a hockey goalie and it has prepared me to handle the pressure that comes with being a pitcher. I'm also a great teammate -- I like helping my teammates any time I can.
I'm a dedicated student and I know that playing sports won't last forever. My grades have always been great and I someday want to be a veterinarian because I love animals.
