Mary Claire Barber '28 Recruiting Profile

I have been involved in cheerleading my entire life, so when the opportunity to pursue it at the collegiate level arose, I knew it was the path I wanted to follow. Currently, I am a freshman cheerleader at Jacksonville State University, and I plan to transfer and begin at a new institution in the fall of 2025. My goal is to be the best possible teammate, consistently putting in hard work and embracing my role as a fearless flyer who is always eager to try new stunts. I thrive in the game day atmosphere, but I also have a deep passion for competition. Academically, I have always excelled, and I take pride in my ability to balance the demands of being a student-athlete. Time management is a strength of mine, allowing me to maintain high academic performance while dedicating myself fully to my sport.
