Modern Day Warrior. My family instilled this mentality in me at young age. You are not born a warrior. You choose to be one when you refuse to back down to the hardest challenges life throws at you. You choose to be one when you always get back up and keep moving forward.
I started doing cheer when I was 4 years old competing in competitive and school cheer as a flyer ever year until now. I have competed at Level 5 since I was 12 years old. I am great tumbler and feel I am a really strong at stunting as a flyer. I will be a Senior at Little Rock Central High School next year and it will be my 4th year cheering for them. I also will be cheering for Rock Solid Elite for their level 5 team this year and competed for CCU for over 10 years.
What makes me different? I also started doing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at the age of 4 and have competed at the highest levels nationally and internationally my whole life. Jiu Jitsu is extreme sport, that requires extreme and intense training. To be the best at it you have to have the mindset like Kobe Bryant had and simply put in more work than anyone else at a level that normal people aren't willing to do. Cheer and Jiu Jitsu combined has given me an edge at both in ways that I would have never could have imagined. Cheer and Jiu Jitsu are both extreme sports which require extreme dedication and hard work to be the best.
I started teaching Jiu Jitsu and mowing up to 10 yards to earn extra money when I was 14 years old. My parents taught me nothing in life is free or comes easy without hard work. I have always been able to manage, family, friends, church, school, working two jobs and training hours every day at cheer and jiu jitsu. I know college will be a challenge but one that I have trained for, and I am so excited for an opportunity to get go and cheer and earn a degree.
I come from a culturally diverse family with my mom being full Thai. Having grown up in mixed race family taught me to really understand and appreciate people from different backgrounds than my own. A since of community and Team is another thing that has always drawn me to cheer. I love being a part of a team, a family.
I am a good student with a 3.5 grade point average at Little Rock Central High School. I was just chosen to represent my school at Arkansas Girls State this past May. It's a dream of mine to cheer in college and to graduate with a degree. It's not just my dream but my family's dream as well.
If you are looking for someone who will give you every ounce of their soul, then I am the one. I would be honored to be considered for your cheer team.
